Question: Sir,
I have a small network on windowsXP in work group mode.the ip addres starts with 192.167.0.1 to 192.167.0.6.All machines work fine except machine with ip address 192.167.0.6.
when i use ping to check network status it gives error:
Cannot resolve host.
Answer: What is the mask? If the subnet mask is wrong then it won't would give that error. It would also give that error if there was a problem with the ip stack. Try pinging the loop back, 127.0.0.1. If that doesn't reply then there is something wrong with the software. Let me know. |
