|
Question: Dear Sir,
My name is Kashif. I work in Windows 2000 Network Environment. Following is my question.
When I try to access the Windows 2000 domain "ABC" from the My network places the following error is generated. ABC=Domain name
"ABC is not accessible.
No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept."
This error is generated from every computer of the Network when I try to access the domain from the my network Places.
My Server is Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
Connectivity among the computers if fine. But no communication via Network Places.
I will be very grateful to you for your help.
Please write me back with the solution of this problem as soon as possible.
thanks
Kashif
Answer: I have seen this exact error 2 places. 1. XP or Windows 2000 Pro have a 10 user limit. Exceeding this will generate the error you stated. 2. If your server is a Citrix server and it is out of licensing it will generate the same. Windows 2000 server std and advanced as far as I know only log errors in the log. But it couldn't hurt to check the licensing. Let me know if that is it and we will go from there. |
