Question: Hello Andrew Lencioni,
I have a broadband connection using Road Runner. I want to know if there is a way I can share this connection among multiple pcs preferably two computers. I was wondering if I should go wireless or go cabled networked. Is wireless networking better than a cabled one? I have Win98, WinME, Win98SE, & WinXP Professional operating systems that I use.
Thank you for your time.
Joseph
Answer: Any modern cable or dsl "router" like a dlink or linksys should allow you to share your connection. As far as wireless vs cable I would say cable is always better than wireless if you don't mind running the cables. Wireless is a security nightmare and can be flakey. |
